SENDA GELHORN (BUSS)

SENDA GELHORN (nee BUSS) Peacefully, in the early morning hours Tuesday, May 19, 2009 after a four month struggle from a stroke, Senda Gelhorn passed away at Bethania Personal Care Home. Her prayers were answered. Senda was born September 21, 1919. She is survived by her son-in-law Cliff Kelln, granddaughters Cindy (Ken McPetrie) and Wendy (Richard Pater) and her great grandchildren Dennis (Sam), Brett, Jason and Jennifer who lovingly referred to her as Old Mama'. She was predeceased by her husband Godfrey Gelhorn (1986) and only daughter Ruth Kelln (2002). Senda's family would like to thank the staff, caregivers (and many friends) at Bethania Personal Care Home for their amazing care and compassion. While staying a Bethania, she developed many friendships and valued the love and companionship they offered. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 3030 Notre Dame Avenue, across from Brookside Cemetery.
