Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMURDO NORMAN MACIVER 1921 - 2009 On May 3, 2009, Norman MacIver of Edmonton passed away at the age of 87 years. He was born to Donald and Isabella MacIver on May 14, 1921 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Norman is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Cathy (Bob) de Frece and Betty MacIver; son, Don (Sherry) MacIver; two granddaughters, Laura de Frece and Christine (Curtis) Roth; two grandsons, Elden and Andy MacIver; his sisters-in-law, Florence McCannell of Winnipeg and Mina Esler of La Riviere, Manitoba; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Norman was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Marguerite, in 2002. A Memorial Service celebrating Norman's life will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 10025 - 105 Street, Edmonton on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Harry Currie officiating. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in memory of Norman to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 10985 - 124 Street, Edmonton, AB, T5M 0H9.
