Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAROLD DOUGLAS PETERS It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Harold Douglas Peters on Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at the Health Sciences Centre, after a long battle with COPD (lung disease). Harold leaves behind his partner of 15 years, Susan Judy Seavers; three children, daughter Rae-lyne, stepdaughter Jaclyne, and stepson James. He also leaves his two brothers, Don Peters of Guelph, Ontario, John and family of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. He was predeceased by his mother Laura Peters in 2008. We'll all miss you. He worked in the hotel industry for 30 plus years. His last place of employment was at the Marlborough Hotel as a night auditor for three years. In his final years he enjoyed playing crib, surfing the net and enjoying quality time with his family. In keeping with Harold's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, May 26 at 2:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lung Association of Manitoba, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E. J. COUTU CO.
