RUTH MILDRED KLAPRAT It is with great sadness that the family of Ruth Klaprat announces her peaceful passing on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at the Beausejour Hospital. Mom was born on March 23, 1921, grew up on the family homestead, marrying William on June 8, 1946. Together, they farmed and raised four children. In their retirement years, Ruth and William got great joy from their children, grandchildren and many lifelong friends as they pursued their love of gardening at their home on the Whitemouth River. Ruth is survived by her loving husband William of 62 years; her children, Russell, Marilyn (Jack), Dorthy Ann (Henry) Cheryl (Chris); grandchildren, Tonia, Terry, Trevor, Sheena, Andy (Kathryn), Jim, Tyler, Carley; and great-grandchild Kayden; sister Ann Schultz; sister-in-law Dorie Wilson, as well as many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held for Mom on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Avenue E., Beausejour, MB. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church, River Hills, MB. A special thanks to Dr. Zeiler and staff at the Beausejour Hospital for their kindness and the wonderful care of our Mom.
