RAE SHEILA COWAN Rae Sheila Cowan (Saidman), beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2009 at the age of 92. Rae, a sweet and valiant soul, will be dearly missed by her children, Dennis, Reiko, and Claris Cowan and Beverley Doctoroff, and by her grandchildren, Wesley (Debbie), Glen (Teresa), Casey Cowan, and Mara and Randy (Lori) Doctoroff, as well as her four great-grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends. We wish to thank the staff of Jubilee Lodge for their thoughtful care of Rae during the last two years, especially Contessa Greth for her loving interest in Rae. Services were held at the Chevra Kadisha Chapel, Edmonton on Tuesday, May 19. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chevra Kadisha, c/o Jewish Family Services, Edmonton.
