Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN PAULSON (ENGLESON) October 4, 1928 - May 24, 2009 It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Jean Paulson, peacefully at Stonewall Hospital with her daughters at her side. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters - Debbie (Angus) Graham, Cathy (Ron) Lamm, Lorrie (Dave) Williscroft, Dawn (Ron) Grandmont, and Tracey (Brad) Kiselbach; her grandchildren - Eric Graham, Terri (Darryl) Armstrong, Shelly Lamm, Adam (Jo-ann) Williscroft, Sara (Kris) Frederickson, Kelsey Williscroft, Payge (Scott) Grandmont, Raina (Marcel) Chaboyer; and her great grand-children - Kyle, Jeremy, Josh, Hailly, Mia, Madilyn, Lesly and Andre. She is also survived by her sister Ruth Daamen and a large extended family. Mom is now with Dad, Dallas Paulson, who passed away on April 9, 2001 and her grandson Kris Graham, who passed away on April 7, 1988. Mom and Dad were married over 50 years. They started their life together in Winnipeg, moved to Balmoral in 1976 and then settled in Stonewall for their final years. Mom was a vibrant, spirited and energetic person with a passionate love for life and her family. Her generosity held no bounds. Her social calendar would rival any three people combined. Mom was a great organizer of fun activities and enjoyed playing bingo and cards. She had many friends who will miss her dearly. There was never any question Mom was the head of the Paulson clan. She kept everyone connected, especially celebrating holiday dinners, which became so large we had to rent a hall. She loved attending all of her children's, grandchildren's, and great-grandchildren's sporting or school events. She was the heart of our family. We will forever miss seeing her warm smile and hearing her infectious giggle. Thank you Mom for being the best mother anyone could ask for. You were not only our mother you were one of our best friends. You will continue to be a wonderful part of our family as we recall the beautiful memories you created for us. Thanks to the staff at Stonewall Hospital for their support and gentle care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family invites you to attend a celebration of Jean's life at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2009, at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall, MB. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
