ALICE SCHMIDT (nee VINCENT) 1928 - 2009 On Sunday, May 24, 2009 at the Pine Falls Hospital, Alice Schmidt passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Alice Schmidt, aged 80 years, beloved wife of the late Henry Schmidt. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Craig (Bonnie), John (Moira), Karen, Gail (Larry) and Jeannette; as well as her grandchildren, Christopher, Chad, Kara, Chloe, Robyn, Alexander, Jennifer, Timber, Allisa and Evan; and her great-grandchildren, Chickie, Dayton, Kylan, Isabella and Jack. She also leaves her beloved sisters, brothers and many friends. May you Mom have greeted all those passed before beyond the river, happy fishing and Canasta playing. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Wiebe Funeral Home, Altona, Manitoba with Pastor Rudy Franz officiating. Interment will follow in the Edinburgh Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Pine Falls Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
