Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEFREN TAPANG LINATOC It is with great sadness that the family announces the unexpected passing of Efren Tapang Linatoc on May 15, 2009 in Hawaii at the age of 47. He was born April 6, 1962 in the Philippines and later moved to Canada in July of 1997. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Rosalinda and his children, Maisie (Mark) and Michael, and his siblings Tessie, Violy (Jun), Cely (Ed), Cecy, Lita (Boyet), Mhalloy, Ferdie (Thess) and Cindy (Ariel) and many nephews and nieces as well as countless friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Francisca and Ireneo, brother Junior, brother-in-law Ernie and nephew Eric. He worked for Philippine Airlines for 14 years then worked as a Supervisor for Cormer Group Industry. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and Couples for Christ. He enjoyed singing, bowling and playing darts but golf has always been his favourite sport. With his kind heart, thoughtful ways and hearty laughter, he will always be remembered as a loving husband and a wonderful father; everyone's favourite uncle and friend. A heartfelt thank you to Gina and Pat from Life's Bridges Hawaii and to Candace from the Australian Consulate in Hawaii for their care and compassion. Viewing will be on Saturday, May 30th and Sunday, May 31st from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Mary, Mother of the Church Parish 85 Kirkbridge Dr. Please call 295-6452 for details. In lieu of flowers, donation in Efren's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
