CORA BEATRICE LAMOUREUX (nee MAYO) November 8, 1926 May 27, 2009 With family by her side, Cora passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Concordia Hospital. Left to cherish her memory is her devoted life partner of 45 years August Erstelle; her children Larry Mayo (Mary), Bernice Cardinal (Bob), Linda Desmarais, Corinne Tye (Gord), and Annette Osmack; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Also left to mourn is Cora's brother Joe Mayo (Signa), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Cora was predeceased by her husband John Paul Lamoureux in 1963; parents Agnes and Wallace Mayo; granddaughter Renee; brothers Ralph, Chuck and Buddy and sisters Lanora and Ruth. Cora was born and raised in Selkirk, MB and then moved to Winnipeg in her late teens. Mom's life was devoted to her children, grandchildren and to Gus. She enjoyed her outings to the casino, bingos and playing the slots at the Nor-Villa Hotel. She will be sadly missed by everyone. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 1 at 1:00 p.m. in the Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy, Winnipeg. We Love you Mom and you will not be forgotten.
