SHIRLEY ESTELLE DEWIT March 28, 1933 - May 23, 2009 Shirley E. DeWit passed away at the Victoria Hospital after a lengthy illness. Shirley has gone home to be with her daughter Donna, son Brian and daughter-in-law Judy. She is survived by her husband Edward and her sons and their families, Ron (Sandy), their children Derrick, Amy and Dana, Randy (Lyn) their children Jennifer (Dan) their son Cameron, Ashley, Kayla and Deanna, Gary (Karen) their children Bryan, Danielle, Derrick, Nicole and Tyler. Shirley was born and lived in Winnipeg where she resided all of her life. She will be deeply missed by her sister, numerous nieces and nephews as well as many family members and friends, as well as her beloved pets Misty and Pita. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2009 at Neil Bardal Inc., 3030 Notre Dame Avenue, across from Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Boniface Hospital Research Foundation Respiratory Equipment Fund, 409 Tache Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6.
