Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD MEDYNSKI Peacefully, on Sunday, May 24, 2009, Edward Medynski passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 97 years. Remaining to forever cherish Edward's memory are his beloved son Craig; beloved step-daughters, Lorraine Kohut (Michael), Audrey Holleron (Peter), Barbara Toon (Ron), Georgette Holberg (Rick); eight step-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; Sister Molly Ivanyshyn of Toronto, ON, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Nettie in 2000. Born December 28, 1911 in Hadashville, MB, Edward came from a family of nine children. He survived and conquered the 1918 pandemic Spanish influenza, the hardships of the great depression and the Second World War. Edward was a jack of all trades; farming, self contractor, lumberjack logger, mining, railway worker. In his early years he enjoyed the great outdoors, fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking and woodworking. He loved to lend a helping hand, a true pioneer of his era! In compliance with Edward's wishes no formal funeral service will be held. A private interment will take place in the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Parish Cemetery, Hadashville, MB at a later date. May He Rest in Peace Wieczny Odpoczynek Racz Mu Dac, Panie
