OLGA PRESTON 1926 - 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce that Olga has passed away peacefully at Holy Family Nursing Home on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the age of 82. She will be greatly missed by her son Edward (Yvette), granddaughters Joelle and Julie, brother Michael Bozozuk and family of Ottawa, Ontario, sister-in-law Betty Burrows and family of London, Ontario and Sandra Huska and family of Windsor, Ontario. Born in the Ukraine to parents John and Sabina Bozozuk, Olga and her family moved to Winnipeg in the early 30s. Olga had a very kind heart. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially loved the family dog TouTou. She thought of others and never forgot a birthday or any other special occasion. She was very generous and always prepared with a card, a gift and a phone call. She loved the visits she would receive from family, friends and nursing staff while at the Holy Family Nursing Home. On behalf of Olga and the family a special thank you to the staff of The Holy Family Nursing Home. A Memorial service will be held in her honor on Friday, June 5, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Olga's name to Canadian Mental Health Association, Manitoba Division, 4 Fort Street, Suite 100, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 1C4.
