IRENE SANDERSON (nee VOURIOT) 1931 - 2009 Peacefully, with her family by her side, Irene Sanderson completed her journey to be with our Lord, from the St. Boniface Hospital where she was born 77 years ago. Irene was a devoted wife and mother who lived her life with strong Christian values, and with a love of all things beautiful from babies to flowers. In earlier years, she actively participated in golf and curling and was a talented and caring homemaker. In her senior years, Irene enjoyed many snowbird trips to Arizona and BC, while living at her beautiful Pelican Pouch home. Irene will be remembered by all for her sense of humour, her hearty laugh and radiant smile. Also, our lives are enriched by her shared faith and many prayers. In keeping with Irene's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 3 at 1:30 p.m. in the St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Road.
