JOAN ELLEN LUCILE YVON (nee OLAFSON) Passed away peacefully May 25, 2009 at the age of 64, while at home surrounded by loved ones, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband of 45 years Normand, son John (Bekki), sisters Alice, Velma (Dan), brothers Earl (Pat), Myron (Mildred), Ken (Dale), sister-in-law Rita, sisters-in-law Monique, Bernadette (Richard), Mandy (Ron), Jackie, Nicole (Gilbert), brothers-in-law Luke (Katie), Charlie (Brenda) Patrick, Danny (Roxanne) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Joan was predeceased by her father John, mother Irene, brothers Derl and Bill, her father-in-law Louis, mother-in-law Florence, brothers-in-law Roger and Albert. Joan had a great sense of humour and that stayed with her as she laughed and joked with us right to the very end. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her. The family respectfully honour Joan's request that no service be held.
