LENORE MADELINE YATES (nee COX) Peacefully, on February 18, 2009, at the Victoria General Hospital, Lenore Yates, aged 84 years, of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Lenore was born at Little Britain, Manitoba on September 14, 1924. She is survived by her sister Gwen Zayots (Thunder Bay); daughters Dr. Dawne Burron (Victoria) and Dale Ford (Edmonton); sons Dave Yates (Calgary), Kenneth Yates (Peterborough), Jonathan Yates (Toronto), Arthur Yates (Victoria) and Campbell Yates (Sooke, BC). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009, in the Little Britain United Church, at 1:00 p.m. A luncheon will follow in the church hall after the service. Lenore loved weddings and funerals so the family hopes to see you there. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
