MARIE HAGLUND Dearest Mother We know you are in a great place, Where the crocuses and lilacs are in bloom, Where the smokies are roasted to perfection and strawberries are juicy and sweet, Where you gaze at the spectacular sunset, paddling your canoe and singing your favourite song: Oh how I love to go up in the air, up in the sky so blue, Oh I do think it the pleasantest thing ever a child could do. Up in the air and over the fence till I can see so wide. Rivers and cattle and trees and all over the countryside. Till I look down on the garden green, down on the roofs so brown. Up in the air I go flying again, Up in the air and down. We know you are in a great place but we really miss you. Love, your family.
