Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIDA MCELREA (nee KRAITBERG) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Ida McElrea, on May 30, 2009, at the age of 82 years. Ida leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Sharyn (Wayne) Cochrane, Joanne (Lon) Teasdale, four sons, Rick (Diane), Pat (Val), Mike (Diane), Sean (Melody), 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Ida is also survived by two sisters, Zelda (Henry) Doell, Annette (Wayne) Nowe, four brothers, Morris, Sydney (Ruth), Larry (Joan), and Hymie (Simma) Kraitberg. The family would like to give an extra special thank you to all the staff at River East Personal Care Home who extended to mom and her family their special form of care and friendship. In lieu of flowers, friends may make a contribution to River East Personal Care Home, 1375 Molson Street, Winnipeg, MB R2K 4K8 or the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street.
