BERT ZWIEP On May 30, 2009, Bert Zwiep, husband of Mienie Zwiep passed away in Portage la Prairie a the age of 76 years. Dad was born in the Netherlands on June 16, 1932. Bert's memory will live on and be forever cherished by Mienie, his loving wife of 52 years, his daughter Marianne (Bill) Quigley, daughter Ria, daughter Wilma (Albert) Reimer and son Bart (Tanya). Opa had a special place in the heart of all his grandchildren; Caitlin and Sean Quigley, Justin Reimer, Theo Zwiep and special daughter Jess. Also left to remember are nephew Bill and Beatrix Zwiep and their sons Nik, Richard and families. Left in the Netherlands is sister Roelie, brother Henk and many nieces and nephews as well as close in-laws Albert and Jo Huiskes and Roelie Kellie-Zwiep. A special service in memory of Dad will be held on Friday, June 5, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, 17 Royal Rd. S., Portage la Prairie. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 17 Royal Rd.
