ELIZABETH WYNER 1921 - 2009 On Sunday, May 31, 2009, Elizabeth Wyner, dearly loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and the beloved wife of the late Lorenz Wyner, died at the age of 87 years. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her daughters Margaret (Henry) Doering and Hilda (Fred) Hay; grandchildren Debbie (Randy) Miller, Ray (Sandy) Doering, Steven (Lora) Hay and Lisa (Dan) Cheyne and great-grandchildren Ryan, Kaitlyn, Tanner, Amanda, Rebecca, Jenna and Melissa. Elizabeth's first love was always her family, followed by her love of the outdoors. She took great pride in her garden and flowers, and always enjoyed going fishing with her husband. Always welcoming an opportunity to spend time with her family, Elizabeth appreciated any occasion where everyone could get together. She was proud of her family and they were the light of her life. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life that always gave her strength, hope and solace. The family would like to thank the staff at the Golden West Centennial Lodge for their excellent care of Elizabeth. A memorial service for Elizabeth will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the New Apostolic Church, 1755 Taylor Avenue. A reception will follow.
