Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Dear Sandra and Matt, It is with great sorrow that we have heard about your Dad. Connie worked closely with Don when they were both coordinators at the board office. I knew him as a divisional colleague and band parent. All our remembrances are of a gentleman who loved life and the people around him. We know that he will be sorely missed by you, your family and his great circle of friends. Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this very sad time. Sincerely, Connie and Ross Shaver - Posted by: Ross Shaver (Family) on: May 30, 2009

  • Don is part of several chapters of my life. Just a dozen or so encounters but I always felt a valued friend. Don was always gracious and friendly. A nice, kind person always interested in what/how you were doing. I shared a day with Don two months ago in Arizona........golfing and socializing. He was breaking in a new set of clubs and they were working!! He looked great and happy...looking forward to summer and golf outings with his buddies. That is the way I will remember, Don. They don't come much nicer than this man! He will be missed! - Posted by: John Rendall (Friend) on: May 30, 2009
