FE BRANA MASESAR 1919 - 2009 With family by her side, Fe passed away peacefully on Thursday May 28, 2009 at the Health Sciences Centre. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Hugo Sr., children Ofelia (Manny), Pio (Linda), Gil (Rebecca), Onofre (Melba), Cecilia (Jessie), Maria Elda (Dominador), Othello (Angie) and Charito (Edwin), 31 grandchildren and 26 great- grandchildren, daughters-in-law Erlinda and Nenita as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Fe was predeceased by her four sons Luis, Virgilio, Herminio and Hugo Jr. Fe was born in Iloilo, Philippines to parents Pedro and Magdalena Brana. She met and married her husband Hugo Sr. in 1938 and raised 12 children before moving with her family to Winnipeg in 1976. She was very active at St. Edwards Church and babysat many, many children. Fe's family was very important to her and kept the family together. She was a very caring and loving wife, mother and grandparent. Fe loved gardening, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all. The family would like to thank Home Care and their staff especially Imelda, Cecilia and Mila who have provided many years of care. Lamay will be held on Friday, June 5, 2009 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, from 6:00 p.m. - midnight. Funeral service will be held at St. Edward's Church, 818 Arlington St., on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
