MARY (MOLLY) ORESTES (nee ARMSTRONG) Mary (Molly) Orestes (nee Armstrong) passed away peacefully on May 10, 2009. Molly was born on March 6, 1927 and grew up in the Fort Rouge area, going to Gladstone School and Kelvin High School. She worked for the Hudson Bay Department Store for 35 years, retiring in 1981 to marry Perry Orestes who passed away two years later. Molly was predeceased by her sister, Kathleen Bellamy, her parents, Gladys and Thomas Armstrong and her aunt, Mary Mouland. Molly is survived by her cousins, Jamie, Heather and Marilyn, The Crosby Family of Burlington, Ontario, a good friend Betty Thorndycraft, and Syd Palansky, friend, confidant and adviser. Special thanks to the staff at Tuxedo Villa Personal Care Home for their exceptional care and kindness. In lieu of flowers, friends so desire donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
