JANET RUTH BRENT (CLAY) (nee JONES) It is with deep sadness that we announce the loss of our Mother and Gram, Janet who passed away peacefully in Barrie, Ontario on Monday, May 4, 2009. She is Mother to Bob Clay, (Susan Graham-Clay) of Barrie, Diane (Ray Russell) of Grand Forks, ND, and Bruce Clay of Winnipeg. She is Gram to Derek Russell (Jaga) and Steve Russell (Ainslie) of Winnipeg, Michael Clay (Shannon) of Toronto and Rachel Clay of Barrie and Great-Gram to Drew Russell of Winnipeg. She is also specially known by the children and their families of her late husband Ted Brent; Anne Lane of Collingwood, Jane Hastie of Ancaster and Don Harvey of Sault Ste. Marie. She was predeceased by her first husband Ron Clay. Mom leaves behind many cherished memories and wonderful life lessons for her family. She was a fun and delightful lady who sparkled everywhere she went. She possessed a marvelous sense of humour and maintained a positive attitude and outlook throughout her life. She also leaves behind many very significant and precious people who were her extended family and friends, you know who you are. You were very important to her and she always loved hearing from you and engaging in your lives. She asked that we let you all know that her forwarding address is now Heaven . A memorial service will be held in Winnipeg, Saturday, June 13 at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 61 Picardy Place, 775-0414 with a lunch reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name would be appreciated and can be made to Hospice Simcoe, 336 Penetanguishene Road, R.R.#1, Barrie, Ontario, L4M 7C2. She is already deeply missed and will never be forgotten
