ROLAND FREDERICK BOADWAY May 25,1941 - June 5, 2009 Peacefully on June 5, 2009 Rolly/Roland passed away after a courageous battle with heart disease at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 68 years. With his family always by his side, the past 4 years was a long hard struggle with his illness and the loss of his beloved wife Audrey in 2006. It was more than soul could bare. Rolly was predeceased by his wife Audrey in 2006, brother Gary, mother Edna, father Leslie and many aunts and uncles. Left to cherish his memory are his step mother Clara Boadway, who was just like a mother to him, his sister Sherene and brother in law Don, niece Tammy, nephew Randy, great-nieces Tia, Kaila, Ashley and great-nephew Jacob, his special friends Kelly and Tracy and son Nicholas, special thank you to Fred and Marlene. Rolly was a master craftsman at many things especially his cars. He has won plaques and trophies in many car shows, he loved to build and fix computers, his love of cats was noticed throughout his home. He and Audrey's love of travelling lead them to all kinds of adventures in their life together. Respecting Rolly's wishes cremation has taken place and their will be a memorial dedication in his memory at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at the St. Boniface for all their kindness and support throughout this trying time, also a special thank-you to Dr. Samchuck for all his help.
