Mike was the proud father to Alexandria, Jon, Eddie, Savanna, and Mia and is survived by their mother Monica McDougal, his loving companion of many years. He was the beloved son of Abe and Mary Sawatzky, and dear brother of Rick Sawatzky and Wendy Twin and their families. Interment will be held Friday, June 12, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Green Acres Cemetery, Hwy. #1 East at Green Acres Lane. A Memorial Service will follow the interment at 2:30 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Home. He was my father. I was sleeping when my mom Monica Mcdougall came into my room telling my dad passed away. I was shocked I didnt believe he died but he did.
