DAVID GEORGE LANGEVIN May 4, 1944 June 3, 2009 Dave passed away, peacefully at home in Courtenay, BC on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 of Mesothelioma (Asbestos related Cancer), quietly but courageously fought. His wife Shannon of 42 years survives him. Also, their two sons Ken (Randelle) of Quesnel, BC and Marc (Julie) of Comox, BC who were his pride and joy. His four granddaughters, the bright lights of his life, Emma, Ava, Jessica and Brooke. He is also survived by his mother Christina Langevin of Winnipeg, five sisters, June Gray (Richard) Winnipeg, Darlene Schroeder (Tim) Winnipeg, Shirley Kostuik (Arnold) Saskatoon, Loretta Wallace, Calgary, Chris McKay (Bill), Winnipeg, his two brothers, Ken Langevin (Linda), Mike Langevin (Lorraine), both of Winnipeg, his mother-in-law Madeline Kenny, Victoria, BC as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his father George Langevin and his father-in-law Tom Kenny. A service of remembrance in celebration of his life will be held at John Black United Church, 898 Henderson Hwy., Winnipeg on Thursday, June 11 at 7:00 p.m.
