BEVERLY GOODMAN On June 7, 2009, Beverly Goodman passed away peacefully at the age of 66 after a short battle with cancer. Bev was born on May 31, 1943 in Epsom Downs Surrey, England and came to Canada at the age of three where she lived in Piney, Manitoba. On September 20, 2008 she married a wonderful man. It wasn't a long marriage, but it was full of love, acceptance, happiness and total contentment. As a member of the St. Pierre Bible Fellowship Church, she made many wonderful friends who surrounded her with love, especially in her times of need - this time was no exception. She is survived by her husband Stan, her parents Sven and Joan Edbom, sister Sandy (Alvin); her daughter Cindra (Stephen), son Bob (Lisa), and her daughter Dianne (Jaime), son Glen (Marlene), and son Grant (Pam), daughter Jennifer (Todd), nephew Ryan (Shannon) and their children Mickenzie and Cordyn; her grandchildren Kelsey, Breanna and Jaxin, Shane, Mindy and Brooke, Justin and Sidney, Kierra, Brynn and Micah. The funeral will be held at the St. Pierre Bible Fellowship Church in St. Pierre, Manitoba on June 11, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. - burial will take place at 5:30 p.m. at the Menisino Cemetery. We ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to either The 3rd floor B wing at the St. Boniface Hospital or to CancerCare Manitoba, ON109 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 in Bev's name. Bev was a loved wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and friend and she will be sorely missed. We can all honour her by living by her wordsLIVE, LAUGH, LOVE. As strong as you were, tender you go. We're watching you breathing for the last time. A song for your heart, but when it is quiet, We'll know what it means, and he'll carry you home. He'll carry you home. Arrangements by Birchwood Funeral Chapel 1-204-346-1030 or 1-888-454-1030
