JOYCE EVELYN LITTLEJOHN MCARTHUR On June 6, 2009 at the Altona Health Centre, Joyce McArthur passed away with her daughters by her side. Joyce leaves behind her daughters, Stephanie, Nina, and Corie; her grandchildren Taran, Ethan, Symara, Mya, and Eve, whom she loved very much; husband Maurice; brothers Alfred and Herman (Luann); sisters Judy (Joe), Darlene (Archie), Sarah, and Esther; her aunt Grace who loved her like a daughter, and aunt Daisy (Bill); her friend Pat M. who will always call her Johnnie ; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her Mom Alice and Dad Sam; brothers, Leo, Francis, and Ronald; sisters, Delores and Carol Jean; and countless other family members. As was her request, she has been cremated. Joyce didn't want a Wake, so we're calling it a Party on Friday, June 12, 2009 at the Ginew Wellness Centre where she worked. A service will be held at St. Pie Parish in Letellier on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., with dinner following at 12:00 p.m. at the Wellness Centre. Anyone who knew Joyce is welcome to attend Friday and Saturday. At her request, her ashes will be taken to Vancouver by her daughters and scattered in the ocean.
