ANDREW (ANDY) KUSMIERCZAK Andrew Andy Kusmierczak passed away on June 8, 2009 at the Concordia Hospital, at the age of 86 years. Andy was born on October 8, 1922 in Melrose, Manitoba to Frank and Julia (Dudek) Kusmierczak. Andy is survived by his brother Edward Kasmer, and sisters Mary Brygidyr and Rose Leroux, sisters-in-law Julie (K.C.) Kusmer and Alba (Bert) Kasmer, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Julia Kusmierczak, his brother Mitch Kusmierczak and wife Anne, brothers K.C. Kusmer and Bert Kusmer, sisters Cecile Kusmierczak, Teresa Rex and husband Richard, Hedy Kocsis, his brothers-in-law Mike (Mary) Brygidyr and Martial (Rose) Leroux. Andy loved to travel, play golf and dance. Graveside services will be held Saturday June 13, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St Michaels Roman Catholic Cemetery, 69 069 PR 212, Cooks Creek, Manitoba. A memorial service to celebrate Andy's life will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Canuck Room, The Royal Canadian Legion, Henderson Hwy., Branch No. 215, 3600 DeVries Street, East St Paul. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
