LINDA JOY WATT On June 10, 2009 Linda Joy Watt, aged 50, passed away after a courageous battle with leukemia. Linda is survived by her husband, Jim, her daughters, Jenna Stacey and Michelle Stacey, her parents, Robert and Peggy Taylor, her brother, Joe Taylor, his wife, Marilyn, their daughters, Ashley and Stephanie, her aunt, Babs Ellis, her sister in law, Tara White and family, and friends too numerous to name. Linda lived most of her life in Winnipeg where she enjoyed successful careers at Prudential Insurance, Monsanto Canada, and latterly at CanWest Global where she was employed as its procurement manager. Linda was justifiably proud of the successes she had achieved in her business career. Family was central to Linda's life and the source of her happiness. She took great pride in the accomplishments of both Jenna and Michelle. Over the years she enjoyed trips with family to Great Britain, throughout Canada, and the United States. She especially enjoyed the times she was able to spend in the warmth of the Florida sun. Friends will remember Linda as kind, compassionate, and generous to a fault with her time and assistance. For Linda family and friends always came first. Linda's family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the incredible staff of GD-6 at the Health Sciences Centre. Their kindness and consideration to Linda will always be remembered. A memorial service will be held at Westwood Presbyterian Church, corner of Browning Avenue and Westwood Drive on Saturday, June 13 at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers friends are invited to make a donation to the Hope Project through the Health Sciences Centre Foundation. The Hope Project is a fund-raising initiative to improve patient care in GD-6.

Aunt Peggy, Uncle Rob, Joe & Marilyn, Lesley and I were deeply saddened to hear of our cousin Linda's passing. Even though we lost contact over the years the fond memories we have of Linda remain to this day. The times spent at your home on Albany Street with Linda playing croquet and badminton and our gatherings over the holidays are memories we will always cherish. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you now and always Love Cindy and Lesley (and families). - Posted by: Cindy Kirby (Family) on: Jun 12, 2009

I have had the privilege of knowing Linda during her years at Monsanto Canada. I have nothing but extremely pleasant memories of the numerous occasions we had to interact both professionnally and on a personal basis. What a great lady ! I will always cherish the many pictures I have of Linda with many Monsanto groups at national meetings, among others. - Posted by: Guy Paquette (Friend) on: Jun 12, 2009
