JOSEPH KALIC July 5, 1940 - June 9, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Joseph Kalic at the age of 68. He will be sadly missed by his children, Michael (Roxanne), Jack and Marija; granddaughters, Avery and Cassandra; brother Pave and family and many relatives in Canada, Croatia and Australia. Joseph was predeceased by his wife Kata; parents, Jakov and Marija; and brother Mate. Dad was born in Batnoga, Croatia and immigrated to Canada in 1961. He retired from CP Rail in 2005. He enjoyed long walks outdoors and was a very generous, positive and motivating person. Dad you will be greatly missed. We love you. Prayers will be held on Monday, June 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Tavelich Roman Catholic Church, 2688 Main Street. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joseph's memory to CancerCare Manitoba. Pocivaj u miru Bozjem Tata. 586-8044
