Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLINDA GOMES (nee MELNYK) On Tuesday, June 9, 2009 Linda Gomes, wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt passed away suddenly at the age of 39 years. Linda will be forever remembered by her loving husband and best friend Paulo and their precious children Samantha and Joshua. Also by her mother Idabelle and in-laws Fernanda and Carlos Gomes who love Linda as their very own daughter. Linda was predeceased by her father John. She will be fondly missed and forever remembered by her brothers Rick, Bud (Kim) and daughters Randi (Bradley) Karly, Garth and daughter Melissa and Scott. Linda will also be sadly missed by family and friends. Special thanks to the Winnipeg Firefighters and Paramedics as well as Dr. Brendan McCarthy and the staff of the MICU, 4th floor Health Sciences Centre for the great care and comfort they gave Linda. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Parish - 181 Austin N. A mass will be celebrated in memory of Linda on Wednesday, June 17 at 1:00 p.m., at Immaculate Conception Parish 181 Austin N. Interment will follow after the service at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Linda's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
