ALVIN TERRY NORMAN SPENCE Alvin was born June 10, 1947 in Gladstone, MB and passed away peacefully at the age of 62 years of age on June 10, 2009. Alvin loved his music, country and western and enjoyed family and friends, playing his music and singing. He also loved hunting, trapping and attending Pow Wows. Alvin was predeceased by his mother, Lena Spence, his father Andrew Spence, his brothers, Lloyd, Leslie, Russell, Frankie and Larry, his sisters, Patsy, Doreen, Noreen and Caroline. Alvin dearly missed his brother-in-law and dear friend Willard Huntinghawk, his sister-in-law Sylvia and Becky Huntinghawk and his father-in-law Paul Huntinghawk of Rolling River, First Nation. Alvin will be truly missed by his wife Josephine Spence and his son Russell Andrew Spence, Vannessa and grandchildren, Skyler and Sierra. The Traditional Wake with the WayWay traditional singers was held Saturday, June 13 and will be held on Sunday, June 14 at 4:00 p.m., Southquill Hall, Rolling River, MB. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Southquill Hall, Rolling River, MB. Interment at South Cemetery with lunch to follow at the hall.
