Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA BOWMAN March 17, 1926 June 13, 2009 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Alex of 49 years, in 1998. She was also predeceased by her parents, Thruda and Halldor Stefansson, brother Linc and sister Thora. She will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Bonnie (Tony), Judy, Bill (Laurie), brother Gib (Kathie), sister-in-law Eva, grandchildren, Debbie, Bobby, Jennifer, Paula, Anthony, Christopher, many great-grandchild-ren, nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her special friend and sister-in-law Margaret Scott with whom she shared many happy times. Pat was born in Kandahar, SK and was raised in various towns in Manitoba. She had a great love for children and enjoyed many years in the teaching profession, including teaching kindergarten in her home. She enjoyed entertaining, playing games, crafts and puzzles. The family would like to thank Dr. Carey Isaac and the staff at Concordia Hospital for their care and concern. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3 or to Children's Wish Foundation of Canada, Manitoba Chapter, 350 St. Mary Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 3J2. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 17 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
