GLADYS CASPICK SNELL (nee KINDYBALL) November 20, 1941 - June 12, 2009 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and best friend. Our mom had touched all of our lives with her unwavering determination to seize the best of each day. Her love, great sense of humour, laughter, generosity and magnetic personality will be missed by all. After many successful battles with cancer since 1991, this time it ended in a draw as the cancer died too. Survived by her spouse David (Jack) Snell, daughter Darcy Letendre (Rick) of Westbank BC, son Jason Caspick (Sheri and grand-daughter Kylie) of Richmond BC, sister Ollie Short (nephew Keith and niece Trisha) of Airdrie AB, step-daughter Susan Snell of Winnipeg, and step-son Mark Snell (Sandy and grandchildren John and Caterina) of Anoka, Minnesota. She is predeceased by her parents Vasil (Bill) and Mary Honcharenko. Gladys wished to express her gratitude to all the friendly staff in Oncology at the Grace Hospital and Dr. Patricia Harris for her support over the past 18 years. The Palliative Care personnel of Winnipeg Home Care did everything in their power to make her days with them as painless and pleasant as possible. Also special thanks to her cousins, friends and neighbors for their love and support throughout the years. By our mom's request, no formal service will be held.
