WILLIAM K. (BILL) REIMER On Saturday, June 6, 2009, at home, in his sleep, William K. (Bill) Reimer, age 93, went to be with the Lord. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Edna of 69 years, five children: Gerald (Mavis), Carol Anne (Steve) Griffith, Marilyn (Peter) Goertzen, Billy (Carey) and Eleanor, 11 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. Dad was born in Steinbach on January 4, 1916. He grew up on a farm in Clearspring where he also received his education. He began working at C. T. Loewen and Sons when he was still a teenager, remaining with the company until he retired at age 65. He married Edna Loewen on May 12, 1940. Dad devoted his life to his family and the church that he was a founding member of. He loved and served his Lord quietly and faithfully. Funeral services were held Friday, June 12 at Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, Steinbach, MB. Arrangements by Birchwood Funeral Chapel 1-204-346-1030 or 1-888-454-1030
