AUSTIN ENOCH WILLIAMS 1927 - 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather Austin Williams peacefully on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at the age of 82 years. Forever cherishing his memory is his wife Bernice, daughter Noreen (Terry), sons Brian and Bruce, 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and siblings Mary, Lloyd (Ann), Victoria (Bob), Marjorie, Ralph, Megan and Jeraldine (Joe), as well as numerous extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Tom and Alice Williams, his daughter Denise and siblings Ester, Ernest, Joyce and Mable. Austin grew up in Stonewall, MB and moved to Winnipeg as an adult where he spent his years working in the printing industry until his retirement in 1992. Austin will be remembered for his gentle soul, whistling ear, perogy making, and welcoming smile. He was also an active member in the Knights of Columbus. Prayers will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2009, 7:30 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Church, 341 Munroe Avenue and funeral mass on Friday June 19, 2009, 10:00 a.m. also at St. Alphonsus Church in Winnipeg. Reception to follow at St. Alphonsus Hall.
