MARJORIE E. LENNOX February 17, 1924 - June 13, 2009 Marjorie passed away June 13, 2009 at her home. She was born in Newton Upper Falls, Massachusetts to Mildred and Percy Hamilton. Marjorie is survived by her brother Arthur of Sarasota, Florida and by her children Gail and Bill MacIntyre, Susan Lennox and John Main, Nancy and Larry Resnitzky and Beth Lennox. Marjorie met her husband Ralph in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia where he was stationed during the Second World War. They married and lived on the family farm in Painswick, Ontario following the war. After their first daughter Gail was born, Ralph accepted a position working for Marjorie's father in Yarmouth. Their second daughter Susan was born. Ralph rejoined the RCAF and the family moved to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan where Nancy and Beth were born. The family was then transferred to Centralia, Ontario and finally to Winnipeg, where Ralph retired. Marjorie and Ralph purchased a winter home in Llano Grande Lake Park in Mercedes, Texas. She continued to reside there after Ralph died in 1987. She made a final trip to Texas in February to say goodbye to all her friends. Over the years she enjoyed curling, golfing, painting, dancing and playing bridge. She loved to play the piano and passed her love of music on to her children. The family wishes to thank the staff of Palliative Home Care for their kind support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Palliative Home Care, Cancer Care or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
