Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHERESA DOLORES FAVREAU With her family by her side, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Favreau on June 14, 2009 at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital at the age of 83. Terry was born on May 26, 1926 in St. Boniface Manitoba. Terry spent her early years growing up in St. Boniface moving to Kenora in 1958 with her young family. She grew to love her new life in Kenora and called it home. Terry was employed by Terry Tressor for many years, first at the Log Cabin Tavern then running the Cafeteria at Lakewood Secondary School until her retirement in 1984. Her many students referred to her as Mrs. B even to this day. Mom was a very talented scamstress, knitter, crocheter and baker. If you needed a doily, Terry would be the person to go to. Mom looked forward to and enjoyed cooking and being surrounded by her large extended family. She will be remembered for her cookie sheet cakes and our traditional pork hock and meatballs Christmas Eve meal. Mom was a member of the Kenora Legion and the Catholic Women's League. Terry is predeceased by her parents Emmett and Bibiana McGlynn, her son Denis Bedard, sister Raymond, first husband Gerard Bedard, and second husband Achille Favreau, stepsons Gary and Randy Favreau, and grandsons Kenny Favreau and Alvar Bennett. Terry is survived by her son Larry Bedard (Danielle), daughter Janelle Devlin (Nicole, Sue and Jay, Lisa and Doug), daughter in-law Joanne Bedard (Kevin and Tara, Paul), Ron and Emily Favreau (Koralynne and Dean, Brad and Connie and Dale), Toddie and Paul Derouard (Tracy and Steve, Tammy and Dallas, Tara and Brad, PJ and Bev), Colleen and Dave Vandera (Stan, Tiffany, Natalie and Jason, Andrew and Lisa, Desmond and Alyssa), Elaine Hodges (Sherri and Jason, Dean and Chevonne, Travis), Gisele Favreau and John Joseph (Shaye, Ashton), special niece Patsy Saunders, lifelong friend Denise Normandeau, sister in-laws Iris Favreau and Marie Favreau and 27 great-grandchildren. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, June 17th, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Cremation Centre. Funeral Mass will be held at Notre Dame du Portage Church Thursday June 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Private family burial will be at a later date. Pallbearers will be Paul and Kevin Bedard, P.J.
