Following this he attended Brandon College, in the Arts Program and subsequently St. John's College in Winnipeg where he studied Theology, graduating with the degrees of Bachelor of Arts and Licentiate in Theology. He was ordained to the Anglican Ministry in 1958, and served in a number of parishes in the dioceses of Brandon and Rupert's Land. Following retirement from the active ministry in 1991, he served as Honourary Assistant in the parishes of St. James and St. Andrew's, Woodhaven, both in Winnipeg. Fred was known for his keen sense of humour and particularly enjoyed sitting around the dinner table telling stories and jokes for hours on end. I am very sorry to learn of your loss. I apologize for not attending his service. I do miss chatting with Padre Lynch. It was always a pleasure to see him at Minto Armoury. - Posted by: Michael Nickerson (A fellow soldier and Johnian.) on: Aug 28, 2018
