DONNA MASON (nee PETROWSKI) It is with great sadness, the Petrowski family of Gimli, announces the passing of their sister Donna Helen Mason on December 16, 2008 in Wimer, Oregon USA. She is survived by her husband Ken Mason, children Danny, Michael, Janet (Christian Roseen and children, Hanna, Jessica and Katie, all of the United States. She is also survived by her brother Eddy (Rose), Stanley (Helen) of Toronto, Johnny (Patricia), Emily (Tom) of Folsom, CA, Edwin (Myrna), Bernice (Kjell) of Winthrop, WA, and Ted (Emilie) of Niverville, plus many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Kornella Piotrowski, and daughter-in-law Becky Mason (Danny). Donna immigrated to Canada from Poland in 1930 when she was one year old with her mother and brother Eddy to meet her father in Gimli. They settled in the Felsendorf area between Gimli and Fraserwood. A family service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, June 20 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sts Cyril and Methodius Heritage Church on PR HWY 231, with interment of ashes to follow at Sts Cyril and Methodius Cemetery. Friends of Donna are invited to attend the memorial and share memories of our precious sister and aunt, beloved wife, mother and grandmother. May she rest in peace.
