MARY DUNCAN WELLS On June 17, 2009 at the age of 99, Mary passed away at the Beacon Hill Lodge. Our mother was born in May 29, 1910 in Shoal Lake during a snowstorm to Louisa and James Holt. She was a very talented crafter in all media especially china lace and dolls. She was a member of the Manitoba Doll Club. Mary worked for Eaton's as a Credit Supervisor. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who is survived by devoted daughter Shirley Connor (Gordon), daughter-in-law Winnie Duncan, six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Jack Duncan and her husband Russ Wells. At Mary's request no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CNIB, 1080 Portage Ave., Winnipeg. Our heartfelt gratitude to the seventh floor at Beacon Hill for the care and compassion, also to Gail who helped her to live independently in her apartment. Bless all of you.
