MARY LORANE BRADLEY (nee FORMAN) Peacefully, on June 16, 2009, Mary passed away at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 78. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon, as well as her parents, Philip and Catherine. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her son Phil (Ashleigh); daughter Catherine (Trevor) Giesbrecht with granddaughter Jessica. Mary will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Mary was born and raised in Biggar, Saskatchewan. She moved to Dauphin where she met Gordon and they came to Winnipeg in the early 1960s. Mary worked for many years at University College Food Services where she made many lasting friendships. Mary enjoyed her weekly bridge club with her neighbours and friends. She had a real green thumb and her yard was always immaculate. Mary was quick to donate her time for various causes; The Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Blood Services and Elections Canada were some of the recipients of her generosity. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's name may be made to the Victoria General Hospital, 2340 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB R3T 9Z9.
