JEANNE DEMERS (nee MARION) July 20, 1916 - June 16, 2009 Peacefully with her family at her side, Mom passed away at St. Norbert Personal Care Home on June 16, 2009, at the age of 92 years. Mom is lovingly remembered by her daughter Florence; son-in-law Emile Painchaud. She also leaves to cherish her memory her two grandchildren, Marc (Audrey) and Lynne (Joe) and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Mom was predeceased by her husband Alire on October 26, 2003, her infant son, parents Laurent and Lucia Marion, brothers Paul and Wilfred, sisters Thérèse, Louise, and Lucille. She also is survived by brother-in-law Joe Dubois and sister-in-law Francine Marion. Special thanks and appreciation to the staff of East Wing at St. Norbert Personal Care Home for their excellent care towards Mom. I owe a debt of gratitude and thanks to my children, my special cousins who faithfully visited Mom. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2009 at Précieux-Sang Roman Catholic Church, 200 Kenny Street. Interment will follow at the St. Boniface Cemetery.
