GORDON (AL) FUNNELL September 7, 1922 - June 15, 2009 Gordon (Al) Funnell, passed away peacefully at home on June 15, in Winnipeg. Al was predeceased by Lolly, the love of his life and his wife of 52 years. He will be missed by his children; Donna, Larry, Nancy, Glen, Dean, Sue and Greg and their spouses, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After a long career with Transport Canada, Al retired to his passion of Ham radio and his many friends on the airwaves. VE4FP has signed off for the last time. Al was never without a dog at his side. In lieu of flowers, donations in Al's memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society at 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
