SADIE MCKAY Peacefully on June 16, 2009, Sadie passed away at Tuxedo Villa. Sadie was born in Winnipeg, and she had spent many years working for the Hudson's Bay Company in the main store office. Sadie lived a long, happy and healthy life. Left to cherish her memory is her son Rick. Sadie was the middle child of three girls born to Anton and Antonina Patt. She outlived her two siblings, Victoria and Mildred. Sadie now goes to join her husband of 51 years, Fred, who predeceased her in January of 1991. A graveside service will take place on Monday, June 22 at 10:30 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Just a closer walk with Thee, Grant it, Jesus, is my plea, Daily walking close to Thee, Let it be, dear Lord, let it be. I am weak, but Thou art strong, Jesus, keep me from all wrong, I'll be satisfied as long As I walk, let me walk close to Thee. Through this world of toil and snares, If I falter, Lord, who cares? Who with me my burden shares? None but Thee, dear Lord, none but Thee. When my feeble life is o'er, Time for me will be no more, Guide me gently, safely o'er To Thy kingdom's shore, to Thy shore.
