ARTHUR ROY GLENNON It is with great sadness that the family of Arthur Roy Glennon, age 74 years, announce his passing on June 21, 2009, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Roy was born on October 10, 1934 in Dauphin, Manitoba. Left to cherish Roy's memory are his loving wife, Lorraine; two sons and two daughters: Randy (Siobhan) of Cranbrook, BC; Greg (Lynn) of St. Rose du Lac, MB; Nadine (Ross) Stewart of Martensville, SK; Heather Dumont of Winnipeg, MB; 11 grandchildren: Kristen (Nathan), Tyler (Kari), Taleah, Jennifer (Jordan), Aymie, Paige, Kieran, Mitchell, Brianna, Simone and Celine; one great-grandson, Monte. He was predeceased by his parents, Art and Roma Glennon. A service to celebrate Roy's life be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at McPherson's Funeral Home in Cranbrook, BC. The family have requested that donations in Roy's memory be made to the East Kootenay Foundation for Health, Oncology Department or Palliative Care Ward, 13-24th Ave. North, Cranbrook, BC V1C 9Z9 Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to McPherson Funeral Service.
