Sam was predeceased by his wife Mary and a son Gordon. He is survived by his children Don, Lawrence (Eleanor), Westley (Connie), Bernice and Sheryl; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held at Valleyview Funeral Home in Kelowna, BC on Monday, June 29, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to International Justice Mission c/o Trinity Baptist Church 1905 Springfield Rd, Kelowna, BC V1Y 7V7. I have just come across this on the internet, I believe Samuel John Trim is my great-grandfather's brother. My great-grandad was William Trim, born in 1909 in England. Their father was Samuel Trim (senior) who died in the Great War on Xmas eve 1916. I would love to hear from any member of Samuel's family in Canada.
