A lot of people who worked with Gary at the CBC were unaware of his passing. I worked with Gary for several years in the Morningside control room. It was fun, frenetic ... he compared directing the program to flying a plane ... once it took off, you didn't know what would happen but it was always a ride. Gary was a excellent soul.
