CHARLETON (CHUCK) HUNNIE Peacefully on Tuesday June 23, 2009 Chuck was promoted to everlasting life in Heaven. Left to cherish his memory forever are his wife Elaine (nee Kaminski), daughter Hilary, son Blake, parents Walter and June, siblings Scott (Barb; children Steve and Georgia), Tracy (Gary; daughter Laura) Alards, mother-in-law Merilda Belanger, father-in-law Tom (Daryla), Elaine's siblings: Lynn (Alain; children Rachelle and Matthew) Sylvestre, Gwen (Tom; daughter Brenna) Cowan, Bob (Kathy; daughters Tatiana (Scott), Jesse, Sadie), George ( Brenda; children Nadine, Andrew and Dylan) and numerous relatives and friends. Chuck's family always came first. Everyday life was simple as Chuck and Elaine shared the joy of raising Hilary and Blake. Chuck loved watching the children participate in their various sport activities and he especially loved spending time just talking / teaching and watching Hilary and Blake develop into the special people they each have become. Chuck loved the outdoors. Camping and fishing were at the top of his favourite things to do. Chuck was always the champ at skipping stones whenever the family/friends hiked along the various lakes they visited. Chuck developed a passion for both karate and his karate family . He recently achieved his brown belt and will be greatly missed at Thursday wings night after class. Chuck was an integral member for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVP). He routinely picked up and delivered used furniture to less fortunate people. A celebration of Chuck's life will be held at St. Timothy Parish, 135 John Forsyth on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations (to feed the poor) may be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul at St. Timothy Parish (at the same address). Elaine and the rest of the family wish to thank all the kind hearted, compassionate people who have supported them throughout this time. GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 982-7550
